Tomáš Halaška is a Policy Coordinator at the European Commission, where he focuses on the CASSINI initiative, the space economy, and skills development for the space sector. His work spans space entrepreneurship policy, international cooperation, and the integration of space activities into broader EU frameworks. Before taking on his current role, Tomáš worked on international cooperation in space and defence within DG DEFIS, covering Enlargement countries and Central Asia, and contributed to key EU space initiatives during his Blue Book traineeship, including work related to the EU Space Law. With a background in EU public affairs and policy research, he brings a strong understanding of how regulation, innovation, and entrepreneurship intersect in Europe’s space ecosystem.
