Dr. Helmut Wöllik

Helmut Wöllik has been professor at Engineering & IT department at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences for 20+ years and is specialized in Mobile Computing, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Mobile Communication Networks. In addition to teaching, he carried out a large number of projects in the field of ad-hoc network technology infrastructures and sports informatics for external clients: 5G & Smart City, 5G Playground Carinthia, Development of the timing and scoring sports software. Since 2019 he is head of the ROADMAP-5G, research group, which deals with 5G use case research, in particular with the topics of Smart City and Mobile Edge Services.
