Itziar is a venture capitalist and the General Partner at Iris Capital, a multi-stage European VC fund. She focuses on late-stage and growth capital investments in the DACH region, mainly in Germany. Her areas of expertise include B2B software, data and analytics, cyber-security and industry 4.0 technologies. She spent also 10 years as a venture investor at Next47 and Siemens Venture Capital. Her past investments and portfolio responsibilities include Black Duck (acq. by Synopsys), Thinkstep (acq. by Sphera / Genstar Capital), Braincube, Polarion (acq. by Siemens) and others. Previously, she worked at The Boston Consulting Group in the London and Munich offices with a focus on Private Equity and energy projects.
