Jan Bormans is CEO of European Startup Network and partner at Kunigi. He has been active in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship for more than 20 years and has a substantial background in high-tech and uniquely combines this with extensive experience in corporate innovation. He has been actively involved in various start-up initiatives such as start it @KBC and startups.be since 2010. Today, he is also a mentor for startups and in-depth coach on business model innovation. Prior to this, he was also strategy advisor at the IMEC nanotechnology research centre and valorisation manager of the Flanders DC/Vlerick Business School knowledge centre.
