Michael Hofbaur is leading the Institute for Robotics and Mechatronics at Joanneum Research, dealing with automatization and complex systems. His research interests include model-based methods for estimation, diagnosis and control of complex hybrid systems, with applications in autonomous mobile and immobile robots.
