Shimrit is a passionate individual, business development facilitator and investor who is constantly eager to learn about new ambitious and creative ventures and ideas. She is always on a search for early-stage world changing technologies and superstar founders, providing them with the know-how and the capital to launch new products, scale and beat their competitors in both the labs and markets. She admires creativity and strives to partner with entrepreneurs who aim to solve big problems, leveraging deep technology and spark. She is interested in AI technologies, machine learning, hardware, semiconductors, cyber, deep learning methods, quantum computing, sensors and more, across autonomous driving, compute acceleration, retail tech and IOT, robotics and more. She had previously led business development and innovation efforts at multinational corporations, served as a partner at a US based VC focused on Israeli technology, and was a board member at several startups including Core-Photonics (acquired by Samsung). She is proud to volunteer at an organization promoting women in tech and constantly favors and strives for inclusion.
