Anja von der Ropp is the Senior Program Coordinator for Climate Change and Food Security at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), where she has been instrumental in establishing and managing the WIPO GREEN marketplace for sustainable technology. Launched in 2013, WIPO GREEN aims to accelerate green innovation and the diffusion of sustainable technologies. With more than 20 years of experience in intellectual property and innovation, Anja has focused on global public policy issues such as climate change, food security, and public health. Before joining WIPO in 2005, Anja worked as a journalist in Berlin, covering European health law and policy, and as a researcher and lecturer at the University of Bremen, specializing in Intellectual Property Law. She holds a Master’s Degree in European Legal Studies from the College of Europe.
