Start:up Slovenia

Since 2004 Start:up Slovenia is striving to codevelop Slovenian start-up ecosystem. Our passion is driven by entrepreneurial mindset, motivation and belief that entrepreneurship is solving the problems of society. Our vision is to make Start:up Slovenia the core platform of Slovenian start-up ecosystem. Our mission is to inform, to promote, to inspire, to connect, to cooperate and to change.

Slovene Enterprise Fund

The Slovene Enterprise Fund is the central national financial institution founded with the aim of making the sources of funds more accessible to small and medium-sized companies. Slovene Enterprise Fund is also the holder of key start-up products: P2, SK75 and SI-SK. It functions as an acting agency of Ministry of Economic Development and Technology.

For the next periods the vision of the Ministry is to support the further strengthening of international competitiveness of the Slovenian enterprises and an offensive restructuring of the Slovenian economy so that it becomes more adjusted to the demands of the global economy.

European structural and investment funds

Content support for recipients of P2, SK75 or SI-SK financial products under the “de minimis“ scheme is co-financed from the Slovene Enterprise Fund and the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund. This is implemented on the basis of the Content Support for Funds Recipients (SMEs) Programme in the 2018-2023 period, under the Operational Programme for the Implementation of the European Cohesion Policy 2014-2020.

Startup Europe Networks

Startup Europe Networks’ mission is to inspire, connect, and grow within the startup ecosystems in the region. We team up with the greatest minds of Central Eastern Europe and Western Balkans to inspire young startups with knowledge and experience. We also connect and align the opportunities of mutual collaborations among startups, providing them with expertise and the advice needed. And we maximize regional growth, enhancing the potential of becoming a leading innovation startup hub of the future.
