She serves as an active board director across organizations in the UK and EU, bringing leadership in technology, corporate transformation, sustainability, and M&A. A passionate tech investor and advisor, Jerneja supports IP Group’s Deep Tech team and is building a personal portfolio of mission-driven startups.
Earlier in her career, she held managerial roles in the automotive, logistics, and financial services sectors across the US, UK, EU, and Asia. Most notably, she held senior positions at General Motors, focusing on restructuring, innovation, and business growth. She played a key role in establishing GM Ventures and led its European activities in the UK and Germany. She later launched and managed GM’s European innovation and investment unit, where she initiated the company’s first carsharing and ridesharing services.
