Since July 2021, Magdalena Surowiec has been a Managing Partner at Unfold.vc, a VC fund investing in technology-driven ventures in medtech, biotech, martech, and foodtech. Previously, she served as Managing Partner at Leonarto VC, supporting portfolio companies in securing financing, exit strategies, investor relations, and scaling their business models. An experienced business strategist, she specializes in building high-performing teams, crisis management, conflict resolution, and the implementation of sales & marketing strategies. She is a Mediator at the Mediation Center and a L.E.A.D. leadership diagnostics consultant. Magdalena is also actively involved in university accelerators (SWPS, Warsaw University, Wrocław University of Science and Technology) and initiatives promoting diversity, such as Shesnnovation and Startup Hub Poland. From 2010 to 2014, she was the CEO of Lemon Sky, one of Poland’s leading digital agencies. Under her leadership, the company experienced significant growth in both revenue and team size, ultimately reaching a 100-person team. The agency’s strong market position and financial success attracted global interest, leading to its acquisition by J. Walter Thompson in 2014.
