Mojca Štruc holds a degree in journalism and began her career in media before moving to the public sector. At the Ministry of Public Administration, she contributed to the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU in 2021 and co-organized the High-level conference on AI “From Ambition to Action”. She also worked on projects such as EDIH and the Slovenian Digital Strategy 2030.

Her passion for digital transformation led her to the Government Office for Digital Transformation, where she focused on digital inclusion and the Digital Slovenia 2030 strategy. From March 2023 to August 2024, she was Head of the Digital Inclusion Division, leading efforts like the Mobile Heroes project and digital training programs. Since September 2024, she has served as Acting Director of the Digital Society Directorate, overseeing digital infrastructure, AI, and inclusion, and represents Slovenia on the EU Digital Decade Board
