Varun Rekhi is a Fintech investor at Speedinvest, focusing on growth markets across the MENAP region. With a background spanning venture capital, investment banking, and capital markets advisory, he brings a global perspective to the startup ecosystem. Before joining Speedinvest, Varun was part of the investment teams at Octopus Ventures’ First Cheque Fund and Mubadala Capital in London. His early career saw him advising on IPO readiness and equity stories for high-profile VC-backed firms, including UiPath, Soho House, and Oyo Rooms, during his time at PwC New York and JP Morgan Singapore. Originally from New Delhi, Varun holds an MBA from London Business School and a BA in Econometrics from New York University. He was recognized by LBS in 2023 for his leadership in venture capital and is committed to expanding access to the European VC ecosystem.
