Founders for founders: No bullshit, all down to the point

Want to hear tips, down to the point on how to build a successful global company and be seen as a rising star in the eyes of the investors? Our mission is to empower founders and we’ll do exactly that at Podim DX Founders Talk.

We invited several founders who simply cracked the code and managed to build global 9-figure businesses, grew their teams from one to hundreds of employees, raised millions of venture capital, and got millions of users. They will share with you the biggest lessons they’ve learned on the way and stories behind the scenes.

But not just that. We’ll also be hosting some of the experienced investors and people who have been running some of the most eminent global startup accelerators to give you a lot of practical advice on how to get funded.

You will meet Florian Gschwandtner, a co-founder and chief growth officer at Tractive, who has raised a total of $2.7M. He also co-founded Runtastic, which developed one of the world’s top health and fitness apps with over 260 million downloads and a team of more than 250 employees from 42 nations. In August 2015 the company announced a strategic partnership with Adidas.

How to build a company from a garage to 600+ employees? Listen to Adam Berke’s story. Adam was in the founding team at AdRoll, the company that started with 3 people and became one of the largest independent marketing technology companies worldwide, with over 35,000 customers, $350M+ in revenue, and 600+ employees, with offices in San Francisco, New York, London, Dublin, Sydney, and Tokyo.

Listen to tips and tricks of Eamonn Carey, an early-stage investor that already invested in over 40 companies. He is the managing director at Techstars London, advisor and board member at companies across the US, Europe, and Asia. Eamonn helps at Zeroth in Hong Kong, where they invest in AI and ML companies and run a regular deal flow email for 500+ angel and VC investors around the world.

Interested in what Marvin Liao, a partner at the global seed VC 500 Startups and a man who runs the accelerator in Silicon Valley, advises startups when seeking funding and how he decides on which company to invest in?  He has invested in and worked with over 414 pre-seed and seed-stage startups, including Embroker, Eaze, Aircall, Manychat, Shippo, RapidAPI, Pipefy, Innovacer, and Stackshare.

Sheel Mohnot leads the 500 Startups fintech fund and accelerator. He founded two fintech companies with successful exits, advised some big names, like Coinbase, Instacart, and Flexport. At Podim DX he’ll be mentoring startups. Will yours be one of them?

Shruti Shah is an entrepreneur in residence at Silicon Valley Bank, previously the co-founder and COO of Y Combinator-backed Move Loot, an online full-service marketplace for buying and selling used furniture, where she helped to raise 22 million dollars. In 2016 she was honored by Forbes as a 30 Under 30 recipient in retail and e-commerce.

We are sure you already know Steli Efti, the CEO and co-founder of Close.io and ElasticSales. The company has received funding from Spark Capital, SV Angel, Start Fund, and Omidyar Networks as well as several notable angel investors. Steli is an alumnus of Y Combinator and has helped more than 200 venture-backed startups to close thousands of deals worth tens of millions of dollars. Besides listening to Steli’s keynote you’ll also be able to meet with him 1:1 and solve your biggest sales challenges.

So, founders. If you want to achieve the next level, you have to listen and learn only from the best. Take the opportunity and join us at Podim DX Founders Talk.
