Dr. Aleksandra Lobnik, Ph.D. is a professor at the University of Maribor and the CEO at IOS, Institute for Environmental Protection and Sensors. In 2001, she founded the Centre for Sensor Technology within the framework of the University of Maribor, Faculty of Engineering. She is the author of over 100 scientific articles in scientific periodical publications and conference papers both at conferences and symposiums. She has led many national and international projects, is regularly invited as a host professor at various foreign Universities and the author/co-author of 4 patents and has 4 patent applications at the Slovenian Intellectual Property Office.
