Aleš Vičič is one of the leading experts in the psychological preparation of athletes, with more than 20 years of experience. Throughout his career, he has been closely associated with the Department of Sports Psychology at the Association of Psychologists of Slovenia, of which he is also a member. His mission is to make professional athletes function superbly with the help of psychological progress and thus achieve top results. In his long-term career, his greatest contribution to Slovenian sport is counselling, advising and mentally preparing 130 top athletes, 60 of whom were Olympians. Until 2006 he was a sports psychologist at Union Olimpija, a basketball club where the career of the NBA star Luka Dončić started. He also offers advice on coping with stress and improving efficiency for people from other demanding professions: managers and key personnel in companies, doctors, artists, contractors, teachers and others.
