Stefan Schneider is Space Downstream Entrepreneurship Officer at the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), where he supports startups and SMEs in leveraging space-based technologies such as satellite navigation, Earth observation, and secure connectivity through the European Commission’s CASSINI initiative. With over 15 years of experience in EU policy, innovation ecosystems, and digital transformation, he helps companies access funding opportunities, navigate regulatory frameworks, and bring space-enabled solutions to market. Prior to EUSPA, Stefan worked in Brussels for several years, including as a Parliamentary Assistant in the European Parliament, and later as a Policy Officer at the Saxon Innovation Hub, fostering collaboration between research institutions, startups, SMEs, and public authorities across Europe.
