Adnan works at the intersection of industrial policy, innovation and economic transformation. He is the founder and Head of the UNIDO Innovation Lab, where he leads the development of new approaches to scaling industrial innovation in emerging markets. His work focuses on connecting technology, policy and capital to help cities and industries move from pilot projects to large-scale implementation, including through the ScaleX programme and the emerging Global ScaleX Alliance for Cities. With 20 years of experience across international organisations, governments and research institutions, Adnan has worked extensively on translating innovation into real economic outcomes across many developing and emerging markets.
