Jakub Krikava joined Credo Ventures, a Czech-based venture capital firm focused on early-stage investments in Central and Eastern Europe, in 2022. Jakub is a generalist investor, with a particular interest in highly technical founders building at the edge of the state of the art in areas such as robotics and techbio. A cautious techno-optimist, he is deeply interested in the role of technological change in driving human progress. Before VC, he worked in public policy and research, including at the Czech Priorities think tank and as Tech Advisor to the Czech Deputy Defence Minister, where he designed policy programs supporting emerging technologies critical to national security. Earlier, he briefly worked at BCG.
