Also, European LPs see deep-tech as the 2nd most promising segment in the Venture Capital segment. Besides the two mentioned, there are many additional reasons why deep-tech needs special attention.

Eran led over 100 investments in technology companies, which resulted in more than 1 Billion EUR in exit volume. He has more than 20 years of venture capital experience, raised and managed 6 funds with a volume of 260 Million EUR. Eran managed Hasso Plattner Venture group of funds, Inventech Industrial Ventures, Eurofund Venture Capital Fund and Proseed Venture Capital. He is also the co-founder of Hasso Plattner Capital, the family office management company of Prof. Plattner, co-founder and Chairman of SAP.
István Sárhegyi 🔹 Herius Capital & Remred, Hungary
István is an experienced entrepreneur, investor & advisor to several industry-leading companies. He is the owner and chairman of Remred, the leading space MAIT (Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration, and Testing) company in Hungary, Chief of Staff and SpaceTech Advisor to the Chairman of 4iG – Hungary’s largest ICT company and Managing Partner of Hungary’s first space tech-focused fund management firm Herius Capital. He is also a member of the Board of several companies such as Spacecom, Rotors and Cams.
Tamas Szeker 🔹 Scale Hub, Spain
Tamas is an experienced International Business Development Strategist and Advisor with a passion for innovation and business growth. As a key member of iScale Group, Tamas trains ambitious deep tech startups, tech transfer officers, and knowledge transfer officers at universities on how they can boost the commercialization process and present science-heavy solutions. Additionally, as an Innovation and Funding Growth Partner at Strata, Tamas helps European deep tech companies to secure grants and equity investments from the EIC Accelerator and other EU funding entities.
Sasha Komarevych 🔹 Bocconi For Innovation, Italy
Sasha Komarevych is an Acceleration Program Manager at Bocconi For Innovation, a support program for startups created by students and alumni of Bocconi University and beyond. He also founded StartupReporter.eu, which is a blog including curated news and stories about early-stage startups, ecosystems, technologies, and VCs. Additionally, he also co-founded Spark Ecosystem in Italy, a not-for-profit association aimed at sparking interest and interconnections between the actors of Milan’s startup ecosystem.
